Our story, our vision, and why we believe language learning should never have barriers.
Growing Words Learning CIC is a Community Interest Company built around a simple belief: language and literacy should never be limited by age, background or academic history. We work with individuals, families, schools, libraries, universities, local authorities and community organisations to build confidence through language, whether that’s in person, online, or a mix of both. Alongside our learning programmes, we operate RBKCL Publishing, producing educational books and resources that support the same mission of accessible language development.
A future where every person, regardless of age, background or academic starting point, has the confidence and support to develop their language and literacy skills.
To provide flexible, inclusive learning opportunities that remove barriers to language development, through sessions, presentations and books that meet people exactly where they are.
We design every session, presentation and publication around participation rather than academic gatekeeping. That means no entry requirements, no age restrictions, and delivery formats that adapt to the people in the room, whether that’s a family at home, a classroom, a library audience, or a group joining remotely.
Rather than keeping language learning behind institutional walls, we work directly alongside schools, libraries, universities, local authorities and community groups, bringing sessions, presentations and books to the places people already gather. Every programme is designed to build lasting confidence, not just a one-off event.
Delivers the learning side of our mission: parents & children sessions, community presentations, and digital & hybrid workshops for schools, libraries, universities and organisations.
Re-Birth of Knowledge is Customary Law. It produces the educational books and learning resources that support and extend the same mission: literacy and language development that people can take home.
Whether you’re a family, school, library or organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
